Girlings Europe – Belgium, Crivits & Persyn, were hosts to Girlings Europe’s other associate law firms, Barron-Brun-Duwat-Ritaine (BBDR) and Girlings Solicitors on Friday, 1 June at their offices in the heart of the beautiful medieval city of Bruges.
After a morning discussing business, it was off to lunch and then a fascinating trip around the De Halve Maan Brewery. This family run brewery established in 1856 is where the Bruges city beer - the Brugse Zot - is brewed. In 2016 a unique underground beer pipeline, some 3 km long, was laid from the brewery to the bottling plant in the suburbs.
...And what better way to finish the day than with an ice cold glass of the brewery’s famous Brugse Zot blond beer – delicious!
